Life To Lifeless

ok and yes i may have taken the title from a "killswitch engage" song but that doesnt mean i am going to be talking about the same stuff. So down to buisness how does one go from full of life to lifeless well there are multiple ways it could happen severe drug abuse which i have seen happen to people, one of my childhood friends got caught up in drugs when we were in about 4th year of high school and now anytime i see him he is not asking how i am doing cause we aint seen each other but more like "do you have any money man i really need some drugs" i aint going in to details about what drugs they were cause that aint important, you could also become lifeless from alcoholism it is a little bit rarer but it still happens i have never witnessed this but i have known people who are alcoholicsso i aint sure how that turns out. bullying can be a way to make some one extremely lifeless because it makes thm feel like nothing and also that no one will ever like them, people have commited suicide from bullying just because they want to escape from it and they feel they have no one to talk to just because some little arse holes thought it would be funny to beat him up, steal his money etc.... the worst way though is from the the death of a close friend or family member that can truly make someone totally lifeless cause it may have been the person they talk about everything but now they have no one or maybe even an uncle or aunt they got on extremely well with and the worst one a brother sister or even a parent that you would do anything for and probably wish you could of rather given up your life just so you brother or that would still be alive and that must make someone feel like nothing nothing can now go good for them and ntohing can get much worse and it is that state of mind that could leed to someone taking there own life. nobody likes to read in the papers about suicide cases and that everyone who is having problems with be it drugs alcohol or the death of a family member, there are allways people out there who will listen and give support.

  2. reckon alcohol claims as many people one way or the other but this is a good piece if overly raw.

Let me refer you to this blistering poem by Jim Dodge: Hard Work. It is worth it, and if it proves elusive I have a copy stuck to my kitchen wall...
